Want to enjoy the woods at night? Try a lantern-lit ski, snowshoe, or hike!
When: Every Saturday, Jan 31-Feb. 28, 2026; 6-8 p.m. EST
Where: The hike starts across the road from the Porkies Winter Sports Complex entrance.
Experience the Porkies at night. Kerosene lanterns will light the way along this 1-mile Lake Superior Trail. Walkers, snowshoers, and skiers are welcome on the trail. Feel free to stop by the White Birch Cabin and warm up by the fire.
All programs are free unless otherwise noted; however, a Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry to the park.
